The Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA) and Intelligent Addressing (IA) have announced the winners of the 2009 NLPG and NSG Exemplar Awards at the 'Underpinning Transformational Government' conference.
The Awards recognise the innovation, commitment and achievement of the local authority community, including the police and fire authorities, in their use of the National Land & Property Gazetteer (NLPG) and National Street Gazetteer (NSG).

- Most effective data sharing partnership - Nottingham City Council
- FiReControl Award for the best integration of the NLPG by a Fire &
Rescue Service - Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue Service
- Ministry of Justice Award for the best implementation of the Electoral
Registration Data Standard - Tandridge District Council
- Most improved - Blaby District Council
NSG
- Most effective LSG and Streetworks integration - Blackpool Council
- Most improved - Isle of Anglesey County Council
NLPG and NSG
- Best partnership between organisations - Lichfield District Council
- Most interesting anecdote or Address or Street - Dartford Borough
